The Regional Development Network (RDN) is pleased to announce that it has received funding from the Fondation Lucie et André Chagnon (FLAC) to support collective efforts aimed at reducing poverty and social exclusion in Québec’s English-speaking communities.
This investment will enable RDN to work alongside its network of regional member organizations to strengthen local collaboration, build community capacity, and support initiatives that address the underlying factors contributing to poverty and social exclusion. The funding emphasizes community development by bringing together residents, community organizations, municipalities, and other local partners to identify shared priorities and develop collective solutions.
Over the coming years, RDN and its members will focus on:
- Strengthening community leadership and local capacity;
- Supporting collaborative planning and collective action;
- Promoting greater social inclusion and participation;
- Reducing systemic barriers that affect vulnerable English-speaking individuals; and
- Sharing knowledge, promising practices, and community-based learning across Québec.

RDN looks forward to working with its regional members and community partners to support locally driven initiatives that help ensure all individuals have the opportunity to participate fully in community life and reach their full potential.
