Charity Village offers free, monthly webinars on a variety of topics of interest to professionals working within the Canadian nonprofit sector. You can access past webinars here. They also offer a series of self-paced web-based courses for under $100. Each course is packed with solid information and practical resources that you can download and keep on hand for future reference.
CNESST offers several types of training and webinars (in French) related to your rights and obligations in terms of: labour standards, pay equity (including training for educational institutions), and occupational health and safety.
The Centre for Community Organizations (COCo) works to support the health and well-being of community organizations in Québec by supporting organizational development, offering training, disseminating resources, producing research, and strengthening links between nonprofit organizations.
Concordia Continuing Education supports the lifelong pursuit of education by offering a variety of non‑credit educational programs. These are designed to meet the practical needs and interests of people in the workplace, helping them to refine and improve their professional and personal skills.
Le Consortium de coopération des entreprises collectives offers a wide array of training for nonprofits and cooperatives in Québec around governance, finances, human resources, and change management. Workshops and courses are currently available in French only but could be adapted depending on available resources.

LinkedIn Learning offers almost 25,000 online courses to help professionals develop critical skills needed to succeed.
The Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network’s Mentorship Assistance and The Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network’s Mentorship Assistance and Training for Community Heritage (MATCH) program provides diverse training and mentorship to heritage groups and includes policy-writing, conservation techniques, exhibition design, recruiting volunteers, communications and marketing, digital and hybrid programming, oral history techniques, the ins and outs of accreditation, board leadership and succession, and more.
The Tamarack Institute is dedicated to ending poverty in all its forms and skill-building for changemakers. Many of their workshops, webinars and online training courses are focused on place and community and will equip you with skills and connections for impactful community change. Learners will explore areas like Collaboration, Collective Leadership, Community Engagement, Asset-Based Community Development, and more.
TechSoup offers over 200 expert-led courses, training opportunities, and events designed for nonprofits at a low cost. Courses are developed in-house by TechSoup’s instructional design team in partnership with experts who understand how nonprofits use these skills.
UQAM Formation Continue makes university resources accessible through hands-on training and workshops (in French) tailored to the specific needs of the business world, public and parapublic agencies, and organizations in all sectors of activity.
Vent Over Tea offers active listening workshops to train your team to lead with empathy and foster a culture of open conversation. Workshops can last anywhere between 30 minutes to 3 hours, per your preference, and can be done either in person or online.
