Members of RDN serve a defined territory within the province of Quebec yet do not have a provincial mandate, and fulfill a generalist role, which is to say they are involved in more than one sector of socio-economic development activity on behalf of their community. ECOL’s mission is to serve and promote the well-being of members of the English-speaking community of the Lanaudière region. They offer a variety of activities and services to people of all ages. Their offices are located in Rawdon and in Mascouche.
Heritage Lower Saint Lawrence strives to make the presence of the English-speaking minority more visible and to ensure that cultural and leisure activities, as well as services in English, are more accessible for seniors, adults, families, and youth in the Lower St. Lawrence.
Founded in 1979, Townshippers’ Association has been at the forefront of community engagement for over forty years. Townshippers’ Association’s projects address heritage and culture, community development, access to health and social services, support for seniors, and youth retention.
